"Commandment vs Commission"

Hmm...it seems I have been doing a fair bit of reading lately, and not much writing, especially in this space. Forgive me.

However, I just read this succinct and well-written article over at a website I follow. The article, which I felt I must share with all of you, says that as we focus on the Great Commission, we must not lose sight of the Great Commandment. Very true.

"Without practicing the great commandment, we'll never truly fulfill the great commission."

"Depraved Indifference"

I watched the following video last night and was convicted, which is a good response. I am praying that the conviction will lead to a change in my thinking, and then to responsive action.

I believe every Christian should see this presentation. Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He left us with a clear and straight-forward command - "Go, and make disciples..."  As followers of Christ, that is our mission. How are you and I fulfilling this "Great Commission"?
